Info: Susan Rutledge grew up in a military family. Relocating in different areas of the United States and in other countries gave Susan a good feel for the concerns of moving families. She returned to her family home in 1978, where she graduated Christiansburg High School. Later, Susan attended Wytheville Community College and New River Community College.
and vSusan married Montgomery Co. native Bill Rutledge and now has two wonderful children. Their son, Andy, is a sophomore at Christiansburg High School. Her daughter, Rachel, is in the seventh grade at CMS.
Susan worked for several years in the dental field. When her children were born this enterprising mom chose to stay at home opened up a daycare and a preschool which still operate in Auburn United Methodist Church. Susan has also done lots of community service including board member of the Free Clinic, member of the Jaycees, VEFC, Chamber of Commerce, and worked with Family Services.
Susan says about her switch to Real Estate: "I always wanted to be in the real estate field and knew this was a perfect opportunity for me now. I love helping people from all walks of life. People have always been kind, fair, and honest with me and I want to give something back. Life is too short not to do what you want!"
